We find most owners are thrilled with the L40 Ultra's powerful suction and automated dock, which handle daily cleaning with very little effort. The trade-off is that its side airflow can blow lightweight debris like pet hair across hard floors, and its mopping may carry wet fur onto rug edges, so heavy shedders may need to run separate cycles.
Loved by buyers
- •The dock fully automates dust emptying, mop washing with hot water, and water refills, so you mostly just top up clean water and empty dirty water weekly.
- •11,000Pa suction pulls embedded pet hair from rugs and floors, and the self-emptying system rarely clogs, even with heavy shedding.
- •The app's detailed mapping, room division, and furniture placement let you customize exactly where and how it cleans on any schedule.
Buyer concerns
- •Its side airflow tends to blow lightweight pet hair and dust across hard floors, pushing debris out of reach instead of capturing it.
- •The mopping system can pick up wet fur and smear it onto rug edges if you run vacuum and mop together on subsequent passes.
- •Cautious obstacle avoidance means it often won't navigate under tables with multiple chair legs, leaving those zones untouched.
