Most owners agree this robot earns its keep on hard floors, vacuuming and mopping well enough that everyday crumbs stop showing up under bare feet. The honest trade-off is that you still handle water, bags, and leftover corners, and you give up strong fur pickup on carpet to get that hard-floor relief.
Loved by buyers
- •The dock empties the dirt, refills clean water, and washes and dries the mop pads, so everyday upkeep is mostly dumping dirty water and swapping a bag.
- •You can vacuum the whole house first, leave the pads at the dock, then mop only hard floors, which keeps bedroom carpet dry.
- •It stays quiet enough to run while people are home, quieter than a stick vac and earlier Roborock models, including the auto-empty cycle.
Buyer concerns
- •The rubber roller leaves pet hair on short-pile rugs and carpet, where a bristle brush still pulls more fur.
- •The map can grow a ghost floor or throw lidar errors, which means deleting the layout and starting over.
