The Q0120 at its $130 to $150 sale price picks up pet hair and dust on hard floors, but a 25% one-star rate warns of deeper problems. It navigates by bumping into things, cannot block rooms or map, and several units fixate on one ledge or corner until the battery dies. Charging dock contact defects appear across multiple replacement units, and the bot is loud enough to disrupt TV. Buyers who get a working unit and pre-clear their floors like the low profile under couches and the simple app start.
Loved by buyers
- •Strong pickup for the price on hard floors when cords and socks are cleared
- •Row pattern that eventually covers open rooms after a week of learning runs
- •Low profile reaches under couches better than older, taller Roombas
Buyer concerns
- •No room mapping or virtual walls; you close doors yourself to zone clean
- •Fixates on balcony ledges or repeats the same stuck spot until the battery dies
- •Charging base contact defects on multiple units; some never charged out of the box
