The Beatbot Sora 70 earns its place as a cordless 4-in-1 pool robot that handles surface leaves, walls, waterline, and floor in one cycle. JetPulse surface skimming and auto-parking at the pool edge are the standout features. The trade-off is a heavy water-filled lift, a plug-in charger instead of a wireless dock, and an app that some early buyers could not get past the setup screen.
Loved by buyers
- •JetPulse dual water jets pull floating leaves and bugs into the inlet instead of pushing them away
- •Cleans floor, walls, waterline, and shallow ledges down to about 8 inches of water
- •Auto surface parking at the pool edge with internal water drain makes retrieval easier than fishing from the deep end
Buyer concerns
- •Heavy to lift out when full of water, noticeable for smaller users
- •Pro mode can leave 5 to 10 percent of fine debris in deep floor corners on the first pass
- •Firmware update requires the unit to be plugged in; some users could not complete the initial sync
