Multiple reviewers who vacuumed first with a Dyson then ran the NV356E found the Shark bin filled with what the Dyson left behind. The lift-away canister and multi-stage HEPA filter are the two features owners mention most after a year of daily use. The dust cup latch sits at the bottom, which makes emptying messier than it needs to be, and hair tangles on the beater bar without the tangle-free tech found on pricier models.
Loved by buyers
- •carpet pull on first use routinely fills the bin with debris previous vacuums missed
- •carrying the detached canister up stairs or to ceiling cobwebs feels manageable at its weight
- •multi-stage HEPA setup returns exhaust air that smells noticeably cleaner to allergy owners
Buyer concerns
- •dust cup opens from the bottom, so you press the release up close to the bin and risk dusty hands
- •unit tips when you extend the hose because it is top-heavy with the canister attached
- •beater bar collects long pet hair and the inner mesh cup clogs with fine dust, both need manual clearing
