We find that this lightweight canister earns praise for hard floors, stairs, and everyday messes, thanks to its easy maneuverability and retractable cord. The trade-off a buyer must accept is diminished carpet performance and a smaller dust bin that requires frequent emptying.
Loved by buyers
- •The retractable cord is a standout: one button pulls it all in, no tangles.
- •At 9 pounds, it’s genuinely easy to lift and maneuver under furniture and around tight spaces.
- •Washable HEPA filtration keeps running costs low and catches fine dust.
Buyer concerns
- •The power cord is much shorter than listed, often around 10 to 12 feet, limiting reach in larger rooms.
- •It falls short on medium- and high-pile carpets, where embedded dirt and pet hair often remain.
- •The 1.8L bin fills quickly if you’re cleaning more than a couple of rooms, so you’ll need to stop and empty often.
Frequently Asked Questions
How loud is this vacuum?+
Owners describe it as not too loud, making it suitable for daytime cleaning without disturbing the household.
Can it handle pet hair on different surfaces?+
Yes, it picks up pet hair effectively from hard floors and low-pile rugs, but on thicker carpets, embedded fur often gets left behind.
Is this vacuum good for cleaning stairs?+
Yes, the lightweight canister and flexible hose make stair cleaning much easier than using an upright; just carry it and use the floor nozzle or crevice tool on each step.
Will it work for cleaning out my car?+
With the included crevice tool and upholstery brush, it can handle light debris in cars, but the short power cord means you will likely need an extension cord unless your outlet is very close.
