We see many owners agree that this Miele delivers powerful, quiet cleaning with a noticeable improvement in air quality, thanks to its HEPA filter. The trade-off is a high upfront cost and a real risk of durability issues that can lead to expensive repairs down the road.
Loved by buyers
- •The exhaust air from the HEPA filter feels genuinely clean, a difference you notice right away especially if allergies are a concern.
- •Strong suction pulls up dirt and pet hair in a single pass, saving time on repeat strokes.
- •It's quiet enough that a napping baby won't stir, so you can vacuum without scheduling around sleep.
Buyer concerns
- •Several owners have had plastic parts like the wand lock or parquet floorhead crack under normal use within the first two years.
- •The dust bag full indicator has failed for some, causing bags to burst internally and creating a dusty mess.
- •At this price point, occasional quality slips feel like a gamble; repairs are costly and not always covered fully by warranty.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it handle thick, high-pile carpet well?+
It powers through high-pile carpet without complaint. The motorized brush has a height slider, and we've seen reports that it revives old, matted rugs.
Is it heavy to carry up and down stairs?+
The canister is light, but the metal wand adds weight when tugging the whole thing up steps. We suggest carrying the canister separately if you have several flights.
Can I clean my car interior with it?+
The long hose and crevice tool work well for car interiors. One owner even detailed their SUV with it, though you will need an extension cord unless your garage is close to an outlet.
