Most owners agree this vacuum delivers powerful, quiet cleaning that handles pet hair exceptionally well. The trade-off is that its heavy electric power head, short cord, and canister tipping on carpets make maneuvering less convenient than many uprights.
Loved by buyers
- •Suction adjusts from gentle on loose rugs to deep-cleaning on carpet, often getting fur in one pass.
- •It runs quietly enough that conversations can continue while vacuuming.
- •The electric beater bar digs deep into carpet fibers to lift embedded pet hair without wrapping.
Buyer concerns
- •Power cord is too short, leading many owners to buy an extension cord.
- •Canister tips onto its side frequently on medium- and high-pile carpet, interrupting cleaning.
- •The electric power head feels heavy and bulky, making stairs and tight spaces tiring.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the power cord?+
The operating radius is 29.5 feet, but the cord itself measures about 18 feet. Many owners find they need an extension cord for larger rooms; several reviews mention ordering one on day one.
Does it work on shag or high-pile carpet?+
It can work on shag, but you must hold the handle nearly parallel to the floor to keep the power head engaged, which some find awkward. For high-pile carpet, the heavy head can be tough to push.
Is it quiet?+
Yes, owners consistently say it is quieter than expected. At lower power settings, you can carry on a conversation; even at max, it's noticeably less noisy than most vacuums tested.
Can I use it on hard floors without switching heads?+
The powerful suction often allows vacuuming tile or wood without swapping to the hard floor brush, and the handle-mounted roller switch is handy. Still, the included parquet head gives a finer clean on delicate floors.
