Best for
Pet owners with mostly low-pile carpet and hard floors who want powerful, quiet cleaning and don't mind a canister that needs a careful touch on plush rugs. Skip it if your home has mostly thick, high-pile carpet where tipping will be a constant battle, or if you need a truly lightweight vacuum for frequent stair carrying.

Most owners agree this canister vacuum delivers genuinely strong suction that handles pet hair on carpets and hard floors with fewer passes, and it runs quieter than many bagless alternatives. The trade-off is that the electric powerhead adds noticeable weight and bulk, which can make the canister tip on thick carpets, and the power cord is shorter than expected.
Loved by buyers
- •Genuinely strong suction that cleans pet hair from carpets and hard floors, often in a single pass.
- •Quiet operation that lets you hold a conversation while vacuuming, especially on lower power settings.
- •The electric brushroll on/off switch right on the handle means no bending down to change settings when moving from rugs to bare floors.
Buyer concerns
- •The electric powerhead adds considerable weight, making the vacuum feel heavier than expected when carrying it upstairs or pushing on thick carpet.
- •The canister tips over frequently on higher-pile carpet or when pulling it from carpet to hard flooring.
- •The power cord is too short for many living spaces; extension cords become necessary.
