Most owners agree this canister vacuum cleans carpets and hard floors deeply, extracting embedded dirt and pet hair that lesser vacs leave behind. But the flimsy bin door clip often fails to lock, spilling debris, and the aggressive suction makes the floor head a chore to push on some surfaces.
Loved by buyers
- •The suction is so powerful it extracts dirt from beneath area rugs and even floor underlayment.
- •Its slim floor head swivels flat to reach under beds and sofas without moving them, a huge advantage over uprights.
- •The retractable cord and long hose let you cover multiple rooms without swapping outlets, saving time.
Buyer concerns
- •The canister door's plastic clip is prone to failure: it can pop open when you reattach the bin, dumping dirt everywhere.
- •Static buildup attracts fine dust and hair to the unit's exterior, requiring extra wiping down.
- •On thick or plush rugs, the suction is so strong that pushing the vacuum head becomes a real workout.
