We found most owners agree this vacuum delivers corded-level suction for quick pickups, but you have to accept that it drains batteries in minutes and may damage some tool batteries over time.
Loved by buyers
- •Suction power rivals that of corded vacuums, easily handling fine dust, crumbs, and pet hair on hard floors, carpet, and car interiors.
- •Lightweight design with a built-in LED light makes it easy to maneuver one-handed in dark corners or tight spaces.
- •Works with the DeWalt batteries you already own, so you skip buying a separate battery system.
Buyer concerns
- •Battery runtime is only a few minutes even on high-capacity packs, so you need multiple spares for any job longer than a quick cleanup.
- •Some users reported that the vacuum permanently damaged their Milwaukee batteries, causing loose connections and error codes.
- •The plastic tubes and body are thin and can crack under normal use, raising long-term durability concerns.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many minutes of runtime do I actually get?+
About 5 minutes on a fully charged 8Ah battery, so keep extra packs ready for anything beyond a small spot clean.
Is it quiet enough to use around sleeping kids?+
The listed noise level sits under 67 decibels, similar to normal conversation, so it should not disturb light sleepers.
Can it handle thick carpet?+
The strong suction and brush roll work on low-pile carpets and rugs, but the short battery life prevents deep cleaning large rooms.
Does the HEPA filter really trap allergens?+
The washable HEPA captures fine particles and pet dander effectively, but it clogs fast, so have compressed air handy to clean it between uses.
What if I don't own DeWalt batteries?+
You will need to buy a compatible DeWalt battery and charger separately, which can cost more than the vacuum, making it best for existing DeWalt tool owners.
