BLACK+DECKER's BHFEA18D1 stick vac surprises budget buyers with strong hard-floor pickup and the perk of sharing 20V MAX batteries across the tool bench. Thick carpet can choke the motor into shutting off, the dust cup fills in a room or two, and the lid is stiff enough to frustrate on every empty.
Loved by buyers
- •LED headlight exposes crumbs and fur invisible in ambient light
- •20V MAX battery swaps with drills, trimmers, and blowers from the same lineup
- •Lock-on trigger spares your finger from constant squeezing
Buyer concerns
- •Motor shuts off on deep-pile carpet until airflow is modified
- •Dust cup fills fast and the top latch takes force to pop open
- •Standard battery runs dry before finishing a full carpeted house
