This corded Bissell earns raves from multi-dog homes by pulling embedded hair and dander out of carpet on a second pass after a previous vacuum already ran. Suction and the pet upholstery tool deliver well above the $120 price. The lift-off detachable pod gets called a gimmick by owners who tried to use it as a portable canister: the pod still carries most of the machine's weight, and the hose is too short for blinds or ceiling work without holding the whole unit up. The cord length frustrates people who must hop outlets room to room on larger floor plans.
Loved by buyers
- •Second pass after another vacuum still fills the bin with embedded hair and fine dust from carpet
- •HEPA sealed system and easy-dump bin suit allergy-focused pet owners at a budget price
- •Brush roll resists hair wrap; only a few strands need manual removal after full-home runs
Buyer concerns
- •Lift-off pod is heavy and awkward; hose is too short for ceiling corners or blinds
- •Cord length forces outlet-swapping room to room on larger single-floor plans
- •Unit weight is noticeable compared with the cordless stick vac it replaced for some buyers
